 Gerry Jackson: Three weeks ago
Radio Africa started broadcasting to Zimbabwe from a secret
location in a London suburb.
It was set up by Gerry
Jackson who realised that her career as a radio producer in
Zimbabwe was under threat when her independent radio station
was shut down by armed guards after only six days on air.
Gerry now heads up a team of exiled radio producers.
It's the only non state run radio station for Zimbabweans and
has already caused a stir with its criticism of the abuses of
Mugabe's regime.
Gerry Jackson tells Jenni why the new
radio station is so popular back home.
